How to safely package & post your device
Everything you need to send your phone to Screenie securely. We use Royal Mail Tracked Special Delivery — fully tracked, signed for, and insured with compensation up to £750. We cover the £10.45 postage label for you.
Your posting label is on us
After you buy a screen repair, we create a tracked Royal Mail Special Delivery label and email it to you. Print it, fix it to your parcel, and drop it off — there is nothing extra to pay for postage.
How to package your device
- Back up & power off. Back up your data, then switch the phone fully off and remove any case, SIM tray and screen protector.
- Wrap in protective layers. Wrap the device in at least two layers of bubble wrap, then pad all sides so it cannot move or touch the inside of the box.
- Use a sturdy box. Place the wrapped phone in a rigid cardboard box. No padded envelopes or jiffy bags — they do not survive sorting machines.
- Fill every gap. Pack crumpled paper or foam around the device so there is no movement at all when you shake the sealed box.
- Seal it well. Use packing tape along every seam in an "H" pattern so the box cannot pop open in transit.
- Attach the label. Fix the printed tracked label flat to the largest face, with no creases over the barcode. Keep a photo of the label and tracking number for yourself.
Don't include accessories. Send the phone only — no chargers, cables, earphones or boxes of their own. This keeps your parcel small, light and within the compensation cover.
Posting it
Take your sealed, labelled parcel to any Royal Mail branch that handles Special Delivery. Hand it over the counter, ask for a tracked receipt, and keep it until your repair is complete. Most parcels reach us within 1–2 working days of posting.
