Step 2 — The repair

How we replace your screen

Once your phone arrives it goes straight to a trained technician. The screen is replaced with a quality part, tested, and photographed — usually within 3 to 5 working days of us receiving it.

What happens during the repair

  1. Inspect & log. We inspect the damage, record your device details and IMEI, and log it into our system. Your data stays on the device and is not touched.
  2. Open with care. The phone is opened with specialist tools and the battery is disconnected to make the repair safe.
  3. Remove the broken screen. The damaged display is carefully separated from the frame and the old adhesive is cleaned off.
  4. Fit the new screen. A quality replacement screen is fitted, seated onto fresh adhesive, and the connectors are re-attached.
  5. Test everything. We test touch, display, brightness, True Tone, face unlock and speakers, then reseal and close the device.
  6. Photograph & finish. We take a photo of your repaired phone so you can see the result, then it moves to secure packaging for return.

Want photos of the process?

Just ask. We're happy to share photos of the repair work on request, and we always send you a photo of the finished device before it's posted back.
